Known Measurements (women) — OST 17-325-86

Soviet-standard womenswear sizing, ready to use. This product adds the full OST 17-326-81 set of standard female body measurements to Tape, the companion measurement app for Valentina, as a ready-to-use, known measurements database.

OST 17-326-81 — Garments, knitwear, fur products. Standard body shapes of women. Size measurements for clothing design — is the Soviet industry standard defining typical female figures for sewn, knitted, and fur garments. Instead of typing each measurement name, full name, and description by hand, you select the list once, and Tape fills in everything for you, correctly named and linked to its measurement diagram.

What's inside

• 64 standard female body measurements, each with its short code, full name, and a description taken directly from the standard.
• Anatomical diagrams are embedded in the file, so every measurement shows exactly where and how it is taken.
• Measurements are organised into the standard's seven groups:
    - Heights — 14
    - Depths — 2
    - Diameters — 6
    - Lengths, distances, and arcs — 20
    - Girths — 18
    - Widths — 3
    - Other — 1

How it works

Copy the OST_woman.vkm file into Tape's My known measurements folder, open or create a measurement file, choose OST (woman) from the Known measurements combobox on the Information tab, click Add known, and check the measurements you need. Done.

Requires: Valentina 0.7.53 or newer.
Language: the measurement names and descriptions in this set are in Russian, matching the source standard.
