Known Measurements (men) — ISO 7250-1:2008

The international body-measurement language is built into Tape. This product adds the full ISO 7250-1:2008 set of basic human body measurements to Tape, the companion measurement app for Valentina, as a ready-to-use, known measurements database.

ISO 7250-1:2008 — Basic human body measurements for technological design. Part 1: Body measurement definitions and landmarks — is the international standard that defines body measurements and anatomical landmarks for ergonomic and technological design. Instead of typing each measurement name, full name, and description by hand, you select the list once and Tape fills in everything for you, correctly named and linked to its measurement diagram.

What's inside

• 60 standard human body measurements, each with its short code, full name, and a description taken directly from the standard.
• Anatomical diagrams are embedded in the file, so every measurement shows exactly where and how it is taken.
• Measurements are organised into the standard's four groups:
    - Functional measurements — 14
    - Measurements on specific body segments — 20
    - Measurements taken while the subject sits — 16
    - Measurements taken while the subject stands — 10

How it works

Copy the ISO_7250-1.vkm file into Tape's My known measurements folder, open or create a measurement file, choose ISO 7250-1 (man) from the Known measurements combobox on the Information tab, click Add known, and check the measurements you need. Done.

Requires: Valentina 0.7.53 or newer.
Language: the measurement names and descriptions in this set are in English, matching the source standard.
