The complete boys' sizing table from the Soviet/Russian standard, graded and ready to use. This product adds the full GOST 17917-86 boys' multisize measurements table to Tape, the companion measurement app for Valentina, as a ready-to-use .vst file — and ships bundled with its matching known measurements database so every measurement is correctly named and illustrated.
GOST 17917-86 — Standard body shapes of boys. Size measurements for clothing design — is the standard that defines typical boys' figures and the measurements used to design boys' clothing. This table turns that standard into a working, graded measurement file: pick a height and size, and your pattern grades automatically — no manual data entry.
What's inside
- 88 standard boys' body measurements, graded across the standard's full-size grid.
- Three grading dimensions: height 86–206 cm (21 heights, in steps of 6 cm) plus the standard's full range of chest and waist girths.
- A fully configured restriction system — only the height × chest × waist combinations valid in the standard are offered.
- Offset and correction values are calculated for every measurement, so each size is dimensionally correct.
- A bundled GOST_boy.vkm known measurements database that supplies the measurement names, descriptions, and anatomical diagrams. Names follow the GOST 17917-86 known measurements system, so you can customise them later if you wish.

How it works
Copy the bundled GOST_boy.vkm into Tape's My known measurements folder — that's the only install step; the .vst table itself needs no special folder. Open GOST_boy.vst in Tape to review it, or attach it as the measurement file of a pattern in Valentina and select the height, chest size, and waist size you need. Done.

Language: the measurement names and descriptions in this set are in Russian, matching the source standard.
